Deacons advises Hong Kong-based restaurant group on its IPO

Deacons has advised 1957 & Co. (Hospitality) Limited in relation to its listing on the Growth Enterprise Market of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange by way of share offer. 

1957 & Co. is a Hong Kong-based restaurant operation and management group that offers a variety of specialty cuisines in restaurants designed by award-winning interior and lighting designers.  It operates full-service restaurants serving quality Japanese, Thai, Vietnamese, Shanghainese and Italian cuisines under various brands (including, among others, Sushi Ta-ke, An Nam, Modern Shanghai, Mango Tree, Gonpachi and Paper Moon).  Apart from its restaurant operation business, the company also provides restaurant management and consultancy services in Hong Kong and the PRC.

1957 & Co. published its IPO prospectus on 23 November 2017, seeking to raise up to HK$70 million (subject to the exercise of offer size adjustment option).  Dealings in its shares on the Growth Enterprise Market of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange are expected to commence on 5 December 2017.

Deacons’ team was led by Ronny Chow, the Head of our Corporate Finance Practice Group.  Ronny has also played the lead role on the Hong Kong IPOs of other restaurant groups, including Xiao Nan Guo Restaurants Holdings Limited (now known as TANSH Global Food Group Co., Ltd), Tsui Wah Holdings Limited and Fulum Group Holdings Limited.
