Susan is experienced in the authorisation for public sale in Hong Kong of many offshore mutual funds from a variety of jurisdictions and the establishment on behalf of clients of mutual funds in offshore jurisdictions (including listed specialist closed end funds). She advises on the establishment of Mandatory Provident Fund (MPF) master trusts and pooled funds, MPF compliance and retirement scheme matters generally. She also provides regulatory advice in securities, investment advisory and compliance areas and on the establishment of fund management operations in Hong Kong and in the People's Republic of China including joint ventures.
