2nd Deacons Regulatory And Compliance Forum

More than 500 clients attended the 2nd Deacons Regulatory and Compliance Forum at the Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre on Thursday, 13th May.
The three hour afternoon event commenced with a Welcome by Financial Services Practice Group's Taylor Hui and a presentation by the Intellectual Property Department's Charmaine Koo on "Intellectual Property Issues for Fund Managers'". The Compliance Services Group's Jane McBride then presented a "Regulatory & Compliance Update" before afternoon tea, after which the event's guest presenter, SFC CEO Martin Wheatley, presented a highly anticipated session on "The Shape of Things to Come". The final session was a one hour panel discussion facilitated by Financial Services Practice Group's Jeremy Lam who was joined by the Commercial Department's Gavin Nesbitt, Financial Services Practice Group's Rory Gallaher and Martin Wheatley.
