Deacons wins prestigious 2007 Asia Pacific Firm of the Year Award 12 February 2007 In London, on the evening of Thursday 8th February, at an awards ceremony event hosted by the UK publishers of the prestigious publication, Legal Business, Deacons won the 2007 Asia Pacific Firm of the Year. Legal Business, the market-leading monthly publication in the UK, with a readership of over 25,000, is published by the Legalease group, which also publishes The Legal 500 series of publications, including Asia Pacific Legal 500. From the Judging Criteria for the awards, the Asia Pacific Firm of the Year award recognises "the outstanding firm in any given country within the region". The profile and complexity of transactions and the cases and matters in which the firm was involved in 2006 are also considered. The Judging Criteria also states, "we will consider... how your firm has made progress over the past five years, particularly in terms of gaining market share from competitors in the jurisdiction."
