Authorisation of MQ Unit Trust Series 26 January 2007 The SFC has granted authorisation for a Cayman umbrella fund named "MQ Unit Trust Series" and its initial sub-fund "MQ IPO China Concentrated Core Fund". The manager of the fund, MQ Portfolio Management Limited (a member of the Macquarie Group) is the first Australian manager Deacons has advised regarding authorisation of funds. The fund is also the first Hong Kong authorised fund for the Macquarie Group. The initial offer period started on 26 January and will end on 6 March.
