Deacons' seminars to SCMP 18 November 2006 Robert Clark and Cyrus Tin Htun of Deacons’ Commercial Litigation Practice Group presented a seminar on "Law of Defamation, Practical Tips for Journalists" to South China Morning Post Publishing Limited (SCMP) in 4 respective sessions on 10, 13, 14 and 17 November 2006. The seminars were attended by over 140 staff members from SCMP, including both senior and junior staff ranging from managing editor, editors-in-chief, senior reporters, in-house legal counsel to proof-readers. The seminars were very well received and had aroused a lot of interest and discussions during the sessions and even after the event.
